Part of the school,namely a small dormitory two classrooms, a store and an office,went on fire at around 2p.m on 18th April, 2021. Police reports and the findings of the fire brigade personnel, which rushed to our rescue established that there was no electrical fault, instead it was suspected to have been an act of SABOTAGE.
Up to now, we have not been able to find the culprit, for lack of evidence The loss experienced was great because it included beds and mattress which were being collected for the hostel which was just about to be opened, desks and chairs, cupboards books a huge solar panel and the whole infrastructure surrounding the affected areas.Parents have tried to contribute, a bit, towards the recovery from the loss, but their limited effort has not been able to help the school to recover adequately.
This unfortunate accident, coupled with the aftermath of the Covid 19 pandemic led to a big drop in the pupil population, which in turn caused a serious decrease in the school fund.At the moment we are running the school with a lot of difficulty. Any assistance from anyone or any institution will be highly appreciated.
